you are most welcome to join us at the festive opening party on 3 February 2024 between 15.00 and 18.00 hrs.

3 February until 23 March 2024
With ‘Boys Boys Boys‘, Galerie Door and participating artists challenge all visitors and interested parties – especially men – to wear (more) art jewellery. ‘Boys’, don’t be shy and dive into the fascinating world of the wearable art object.

The many diverse artworks in this group exhibition refer to the theme ‘Boys‘. This can sometimes literally be read in the type of jewellery, such as the cufflink and the tie or lapel pin. While other art jewellery in the expo question the gender aspect. Objects with a tough masculine look, but with a vulnerable feminine narrative … or vice versa.

This brings us to the other ‘Beuys’, Joseph. One of the most influential German artists in whose work a strong personal narrative keeps coming back. Something to which many art jewellery pieces at Galerie Door are indebted.
