about the work
There are several ways to cast metals. Taehee In casts her silver and gold jewellery pieces using wooden molds. She files and cuts both the size and shape of the ring straight out of the wood. Moreover, and this is partly what makes Taehee In’s work so special, she sets her stones directly when casting. Material, handwriting, casting process. Drawing, jewel, treasury box. Little finery for all this beauty.
